Welcome to Sweetgrass Apothecary! We are a small family-owned herbal apothecary offering all-natural organic ancient healing herbal teas, artisanal skincare products, as well as healing energy sprays, smudges, and handcrafted aromatherapy products. We are avid fans of herbal healing; we love and respect the powers of nature and continuously strive to expand and deepen our plant knowledge.

Sweetgrass apothecary started with a humble beginning in a small retail store space in the San Francisco Bay Area at the beginning of 2020. At the beginning of 2021, Sophia and her life partner decided to drive up the beautiful pacific northwest and relocate their life and dreams to Kitsap County in Washington state. We are currently building our herbal medicine garden and food forest on a beautiful land covered with evergreens and home to woodpeckers, red squirrels, owls, rabbits, just to name a few. The Sweetgrass line is now handcrafted in a beautiful small barn, recently renovated by Sophia and her partner, nestled in the evergreen forest of the pacific northwest. ​ 

 

We make all our products with love and in small batches using only freshly hand-harvested herbs from our garden, responsibly wild-crafted plants, herbs sourced from small organic farms, and therapeutic-grade essential oils. ​ 

 

Sweetgrass Apothecary's products are for everyone; they contain no artificial fragrances, parabens, preservatives, toxins, or artificial ingredients so that you can have complete peace of mind. They are also organic, cruelty-free, vegan, and handcrafted using heirloom technics to bring healing and harmony into our lives.
